Advent Hymns . VID

Comfort, comfort, O my people,
Speak of peace, now says our God;
Comfort those who sit in darkness,
Mourning ’neath their sorrows’ load.

Speak unto Jerusalem
Of the peace that waits for them;
Tell of all the sins I cover,
And that warfare now is over.

Remember the past with gratitude.
Live the present with enthusiasm.
Look forward to the future with confidence.

Saint John Paul II

Prayer is an aspiration of the heart. It is a simple glance
directed to Heaven. It is a cry of gratitude and love
in the midst of trial as well as joy.
